Land Rover LR2

The introduction of a more powerful and efficient turbocharged four for 2013 alleviated two of our gripes with the LR2: weak output and poor economy. But the entry-luxury SUV's conservative styling looks even more dated next to the pricier but more handsome Range Rover Evoque. Still, the LR2 is more spacious inside and includes appointments like standard leather seats. All-wheel drive is also standard and includes four selectable drive modes to handle a variety of on- and off-road conditions.
