With its large back seat, clear controls, and a revised suspension, the updated Tucson has a lot going for it, though its small-ish cargo area and huge blind spots keep us from gushing enthusiastically. Engine choices include a new 164-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or a 182-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder, each mated to a six-speed automatic transmission; all-wheel drive is an option. And of course, being a Hyundai, the Tucson is competitively priced, with a 10-year powertrain warranty.
