While the Santa Fe Sport carries only five passengers, the long-wheelbase Santa Fe has three-row seating and is offered in seven-passenger base GLS trim or six-passenger Limited trim. With a V-6 and six-speed automatic, acceleration is surprisingly brisk and shifts are smooth. Handling is neither sporty nor cumbersome, and the ride is comfortable but not soft. Better suspension tuning could reduce rear-end hop on bad pavement. A standard Trailer Prep package provides a 5000-lb towing capacity.
