Bridging the gap between the Sonata and Genesis sedans, the Azera is loaded with standard features like heated leather seats and a rearview camera that show Hyundai’s commitment to elevating itself in the marketplace. There’s only one engine: a 293-hp, 3.3-liter V-6 mated to a six-speed automatic transmission with a manual shifting mode. Despite the willingness of the powertrain, the Azera is let down by the terrible steering, crashing suspension, and weak brakes.
