With a 2.7-liter four-cylinder as standard and a 4.0-liter V-6 optional, the Tacoma is offered in configurations that range from basic work trucks to family-friendly off-roaders. For a pickup it steers well, despite its less-than-stellar brakes and frame rigidity.
