Subaru BRZ
The BRZ makes for an engaging
rear-wheel-drive coupe, thanks to terrific chassis balance, sharp
steering, and a low center of gravity. The 200-hp, 2.0-liter flat-four
engine is mated to either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
We prefer the manual for its light, positive action. A few more ponies
wouldn’t hurt, the exhaust note contradicts its sporting nature, and
trunk space is limited, but those niggles don't stop us from admiring
the BRZ for the purity of its mission.
