Nissan Armada

This is a genuine body-on-frame SUV with room for seven or eight, with optional low-range four-wheel drive. Powered by a 5.6-liter V-8 that makes 317 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque mated to a five-speed automatic, the Armada can tow up to 9000 pounds. The independent rear suspension aids ride quality and makes extra room possible in the third row, but creates a high load floor. This ute is roomy but a bit bland inside, heavy, thirsty and due for an update. It’s in a segment that is getting smaller.
