The SLK55 AMG is Mercedes-Benz’s junior roadster, which just happens to feature a hand-built 415-hp V-8 stuffed under its long and handsome hood. In addition to this amazing powerplant are many other performance upgrades that make the SLK55 a force to be reckoned with, both at stoplights and on the racetrack. Like all SLKs, the SLK55 AMG is mannerly in day-to-day driving and features a folding hardtop. You’ll want to keep it lowered as long as possible to savor the muscle-car exhaust note.
