Facing tough competition from the BMW 7-series, Audi A8, and others, Mercedes-Benz pulled out all the stops with its all-new flagship S-class. For 2014, only the 455-hp S550 and 577-hp S63 AMG models are available, with more variants on the way for 2015. A host of innovative tech and luxury items are contained within the slinky sheetmetal, including a dizzying array of monitors and accident-avoidance systems that make the S-class as close to a self-driving car as currently exists.
