Lincoln MKC

The MKC will ride on the same front-drive-based unibody platform as the Escape. Judging from the test mule in these spy photos, the MKC appears to carry over the Escape’s basic proportions, leaving behind the concept’s tantalizing shapes. It also appears as though the MKC’s roofline is identical to the Escape’s. Subtle differences are possible—after all, Lincoln was able to alter the Fusion’s roof significantly when designing the MKC—but, overall, it seems the production crossover will lose some of the concept’s aggressive stance and elegant form.
