2014 Lotus Evora

With its lightweight chassis of bonded aluminum, supple suspension, and mid-engine layout, there’s nothing ordinary about the Evora—except its engine. It’s the same V-6 used in vehicles ranging from Camry sedans to Highlander crossovers. In this application, its 276 hp are just enough; a supercharged version makes 345 hp. A six-speed manual is standard while a six-speed automatic is optional; so is a small rear seat. That’s enough to make this Lotus a surprisingly usable everyday sports car.
