Nissan Versa Note

The new Versa Note is based on the Versa sedan but with more expressive styling and a handy hatch. It’s considerably more compact on the outside yet has the roomiest back seat in its class. It shares the sedan’s 1.6-liter four paired with a five-speed manual or CVT, but the Note still rings off-key. We like the more expressive styling and the functionality, and the ride is surprisingly compliant, but it’s still based on one of the dullest cars you can buy and it's pretty uninspiring to drive.
