Mercedes-Benz CLS-class
Mercedes originated the “four-door coupe” with the
CLS-class, which is basically an E-class wrapped in a sleeker, sexier
body. Its intimate interior seats just four, so practicality isn’t its
strong suit. Power and poise are, however, thanks to a 402-hp
twin-turbocharged V-8 and an air suspension. Rear-wheel drive is
standard; all-wheel drive is available. For more power, check out the
CLS63 AMG. CLS prices start higher than the E-class but less than the
CL-class coupe. Style isn’t cheap.
