Lexus LX

The LX capitalizes on the off-road proficiency of its sibling, the Toyota Land Cruiser, while heaping on luxury trappings befitting a Lexus. As such, it has the chops to take on the Land Rover Range Rover and Mercedes-Benz G550 while boasting Lexus’s sterling reputation for reliability. With room for eight, the interior is gorgeously appointed. Fuel consumption is atrocious—blame the LX’s three-ton curb weight and 383-hp V-8. The LX is near the end of its product cycle, and feels a bit dated.
