Jeep Patriot

The Patriot has been around since 2007, and despite an interior that was improved for 2011, it is showing its age. Two four-cylinder engines ranging from 158 hp to 172 hp provide power to the front or all four wheels; a five-speed manual is standard and a six-speed auto is optional. The Patriot is no fun to drive, really, but it gets decent fuel economy and is one of the least-expensive crossovers on the market. Still, there are better vehicles in the segment.
