Infiniti QX70

The QX70 offers a surprising level of athleticism in a sculpted and stylish package. The base engine is a 325-hp, 3.7-liter V-6; a 390-hp, 5.0-liter V-8 is optional. Power is routed to either the rear or all four wheels through a seven-speed automatic. Regardless, the QX70 is able to hustle with the best of them. Handling is gratifying and the ride firm, but the steering is disappointingly numb. While we have found the V-6 a bit rough-edged, the V-8 is smooth and burly but also thirstier.
