GMC Yukon XL

The Yukon XL is all-new for 2015 and is still one of the best ways to haul nine people and their stuff in drama-free comfort. It rides on a wheelbase that is more than a foot longer than the Yukon and is powered by either a 355-hp, 5.3-liter V-8 or—in upscale Denali trim—a 420-hp, 6.2-liter V-8. Both versions mate to a six-speed automatic, with either standard rear- or optional four-wheel drive. The Yukon XL isn’t exactly fuel efficient, but it is an outstanding utility vehicle, sans the sport.
