Fiat 500L

Cuteness is not always scalable. Case in point: the Fiat 500L, which attempts to capture what makes the regular 500 so beguiling while adding space for four humans and their stuff. Design “squircles” abound inside, lending the spacious cabin a whimsical ambience, but at least the infotainment system works well. Front-wheel drive is standard as is a six-speed manual; a six-speed automatic is optional. Its 160-hp four-cylinder moves it along nicely enough, too, and is fuel-efficient to boot.
