Those who are unimpressed by the wave of Euro-style vans can take solace in Chevrolet’s all-American Express. There’s a choice of wheelbases, payload capacities, and towing up to 10,000 pounds. Powertrain options include a V-6, three V-8s including one fueled by CNG, and a turbo-diesel, plus rear- or all-wheel drive. Body styles feature cargo, “crew cargo,” passenger, and cutaway. Drawbacks include lots of body roll, numb steering and the intruding engine cover that compromises front legroom.
