BMW 6-series Gran Coupe

The 6-series Gran Coupe is not a coupe at all but rather a swoopy four-door sedan (with a fairly cramped cabin) built on a 6-series platform, which in turn is actually derived from a 5-series sedan. The Gran Coupe shares the mechanicals of the 5-series, including the turbo 3.0-liter inline-six (640i) and 4.4-liter V-8 (650i), the eight-speed automatic transmission, and the optional xDrive. It also boasts a patrician attitude: It’s priced almost 25 grand more than a comparable 5-series sedan.
