The S6 takes everything that’s right with the A6 sedan—elegant design, rich interior materials, and innovative technology—and adds a huge dollop of power in the form of a 420-hp twin-turbocharged V-8 with a seven-speed automatic. All-wheel drive and a road-hugging suspension help to harness all that power, making it an absolute blast to drive in any and types of weather. It’s certainly pricey, but few cars combine excellence at so many levels. Hence, we gave it another 10Best award for 2014.
