Audi S3

 A performance-fortified version of the new A4, the S3 is powered by a 290-hp 2.0-liter turbo four that should thump this relatively lightweight sedan—its front fenders and hood are made from aluminum—to 60 mph in less than five seconds. All-wheel drive is part of the package while a lowered suspension and large 18-inch wheels inside performance tires optimize stability and adhesion. The sole transmission choice for now is a S-Tronic automatic. Look for the S3 sometime in fall 2014.
